MANAGING STRESS

 

Managing Stress is designed to help participants identify their personal stress buffering strengths and their stress coping styles.

This program will:

• Raise awareness of the impact that stress places on health and productivity
• Encourage awareness of healthy options for dealing with stress
• Provide tools for individual stress management
• Improve or enhance stress coping skills
• Encourage participants to set and reach goals

Managing Stress was developed by the Small Business Wellness Initiative by Joel B. Bennett, Ph.D., Organizational Wellness & Learning Systems.

This program is based on Module 4 of “Team Awareness” developed at Texas Christian University.   It is designed to be used in conjunction with video supplements from the "Healthy Workplace" program, developed by Dr. Royer F.
