Session: Business Wellness Programs—Tools for Behavioral Risk Reduction
The Small Business Wellness Initiative delivers evidence-based health promotion programs suitable for both small and large businesses and for businesses that have identified particular areas of behavioral risk. SBWI is on the cutting edge of health promotion and substance abuse prevention in the workplace. This presentation will provide an overview of the Initiative and results seen to date with the Metroplex area businesses, which have participated. With 77 percent of substance abusers in the workforce, this is a problem all businesses must consider and address.
